Making a Difference at Masonicare

April is National Volunteer Month, a special time to recognize all those who give time and energy helping others. There are many different places and ways to volunteer. Masonicare offers several unique opportunities to make a lasting impact on the lives of the residents and patients we serve and care for!

Hospice Volunteers bring their own unique talents, skills and caring nature to comfort patients in their area. Hospice volunteering helps foster a deep appreciation for life in all its stages and allows the opportunity to form strong personal connections. Masonicare Hospice and Palliative Care also has a Veteran-to-Veteran program, providing companionship and an opportunity to discuss shared experiences. All volunteers receive ongoing training and support.

Masonicare Health Center provides various volunteer opportunities. Visit with residents, provide clerical support or assist with creative art projects and programs. Work in the gift shop, convenience store, or library. Accompany residents to in-house activities and appointments. There are so many ways to make a positive impact! Every volunteer is provided with orientation and training to make the most out of their experience.
