Masonicare ("Masonicare," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit masonicare.org and any subdomains or related online services (the "Site"). This policy applies to information collected through the Site. Health information you provide to Masonicare as a patient or resident is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA.

We may add, remove, or replace third-party services from time to time. We will update this list when material changes occur.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary value. Some of our use of third-party advertising and analytics services may qualify as "sharing" or "selling" of personal information as those terms are broadly defined under California and Connecticut law. See Section 7 below for opt-out rights.

6. Your Choices

  • Email communications: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by contacting us using the information in Section 12.
  • Browser controls: You can configure your browser to block cookies, block third-party cookies, or notify you when cookies are set. You can also enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals in supported browsers.
  • Mobile advertising IDs: You can reset or limit ad tracking on your mobile device through your operating system's privacy settings.

Connecticut Residents (CTDPA)

If you are a Connecticut resident, you have the right to:

  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
  • Delete personal data we have collected from you
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal data
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of your personal data, and certain profiling

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it
  • Access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

Other States

If you reside in another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or others), you may have similar rights. Contact us at info@masonicare.org to exercise them.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the Site.
