Masonicare at Mystic will be hosting a Mobile Memory Clinic in conjunction with Coastal Connecticut Research as part of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s National Memory Screening Program. Memory screenings are a free and confidential service to test memory and other thinking skills. To date, 5 million Americans have been screened as part of this effort to promote brain health. Each individual screening takes approximately 15 minutes.
Diane Palmer, RN, will provide the no cost memory screenings at the Mobile Memory Clinic. She serves as Site Administrator and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator at Coastal Connecticut Research in New London. She earned her Registered Nurse degree from Saint Francis School of Nursing in Hartford, Connecticut and has completed a Clinical Data Management Certificate Program through the University of Connecticut College of Continuing Studies and Workforce, providing her with an education on the drug development process of clinical trials. Diane has well over a decade of experience in industry trials in neurology, women’s health, and internal medicine. Diane has been involved in virtually all aspects of the clinical trial process at Coastal Connecticut Research from the inception of the trial to the completion.
The event will take place in the Activities Room at Masonicare at Mystic.
