Several years ago, Masonicare Home Health & Hospice launched a service called Masonicare at Home.
This program came about in response to a demand for non-medical, in
home care. Since then, Masonicare at Home has grown by leaps and
bounds, meeting a need for in-home companion services ranging from a few
hours a day to live-in arrangements – all of which help seniors remain
in their homes safely.
Late last year, we decided to make Masonicare at Home a separate
affiliate of Masonicare and to expand its scope of services. In 2014,
Masonicare at Home will roll out two programs aligned with its vision to
help seniors stay safe and independent in their own homes. The first
is called LiveHome. This is a membership program that provides a
package of core services including a home safety audit, a personal
wellness navigator, an emergency response system and help finding
professionals to adapt a home for senior living. Members also have
access to the social and wellness programs held at Masonicare at Ashlar
Masonicare at Home’s other new program is Mobile Health Technologies.
Again, designed to help seniors live safely and independently at home,
these services include high-tech emergency response systems,
state-of-the-art medication reminders and more. This is a new frontier
for aging services, and we are pleased to be out in front with it.

It is our intention to do everything we can do make seniors’ lives
as healthy, safe and fulfilling as possible in the environment of their
choosing. For most seniors, that is almost always “home.”
