Residential Care Home
A residential care community is ideal for seniors on a limited income who don’t need 24-hour “hands-on” personal care but may have health conditions that make it difficult for them to live alone. Licensed by the State of Connecticut, a state subsidy is provided to income-qualified applicants. Residents receiving Medicaid (Title 19), in addition to those who pay privately, are welcome. Furnished private apartments, 3 meals a day, social and wellness activities, emergency call-for-aid, transportation to doctor’s appointments and area shopping centers.
