Assisted Living Services and Communities
Assisted living is a special combination of independent residential living along with personalized supportive services designed to meet the needs of residents who need help with the activities of daily living, but do not need skilled nursing care.
Residents reside in their own, private apartments. Friendly, trained staff members are available 24-hours a day to help with meals, dressing, personal hygiene and medications.

Assisted Living Services – beyond our campuses
In addition to providing Assisted Living on our campuses, Masonicare partners with several Managed Residential Communities throughout Connecticut to offer Assisted Living support to their residents.
We can help an individual maintain their independence at home with day-to-day living support such as:
- Bathing and dressing assistance
- Escorting to dining room
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation, including delivery
- Medication management, including pre-pours and reminders
- Personal hygiene
- Safety and well-being checks
- Toileting assistance
A team of carefully screened and specially trained Masonicare Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants provide this support. Our nurses can also assist with physicians' appointments and follow-up.
Masonicare offers four different levels of care or "packages" designed around how much care is provided weekly. These range from occasional personal services (1-3.75 hours per week) to extensive personal services (15-25 hours per week.)
