The Masonicare Quality of Life Walk

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2012 Masonicare Quality of Life Walk!

The Masonicare Quality of Life Walk fundraiser event helps The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut provide for the greatest needs of residents and patients at Masonicare Heath Center, Masonicare at Newtown and Masonicare Home Health & Hospice when no other funding resources are available. Donors to the Quality of Life Funds can feel proud knowing that their gifts will directly impact Masonicare’s residents and patients.

Some examples of Quality of Life Fund purchases include dental care, telemonitors, home health aide visits, replacement batteries for scooters, and the patient transportation program at Masonicare Health Center. These are only a few of the important purchases made through the Quality of Life Funds.

The 2012 Masonicare Quality of Life Walk, held May 19 at Great River Park in East Hartford, CT, attracted 380 registered walkers, 80 volunteers, and raised $42,553.00, exceeding its goal of $40,000.00.
