Stamford Area Community Invited to Honor and Remember Loved Ones Through The Tree of Life

November 14, 2012

November 14, 2012………..The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut, the philanthropic affiliate of Masonicare, is proud to be sponsoring the Tree of Life, a new, non-denominational tree-lighting ceremony to be held in Stamford December 2.  “The Tree of Life will give attendees from communities throughout the area a special opportunity to honor and memorialize loved ones during this holiday season,” said Stephen B. McPherson, President and CEO of Masonicare.

The Tree of Life ceremony will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, at the Italian Center of Stamford, 1620 Newfield Avenue, Stamford.  Through this program, you and your family can honor or remember a loved one by lighting up a light on the Tree of Life.  Tax-deductible donations in support of the Tree of Life enable Masonicare to provide quality, compassionate home health and hospice care to our patients and their families. The Tree of Life is sponsored by Pitney Bowes, Morrison Senior Living, Acacia Lodge No. 85, and Union Lodge No. 5.  Light refreshments will be served at a reception following the ceremony.

To purchase a light, please visit www.Masonicare.org to complete an Online Response Form or print out a downloadable form and return it as soon as possible with your gift donation to Tree of Life, c/o The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut, P.O. Box 70, Wallingford  06492.  For questions or additional information, or for those who would like to receive an invitation by mail, please call 800-562-3952.
