Norman Johnson apartments. Days, and evenings too, are filled with opportunities for learning, culture, exercise, volunteering, crafting, and just plain socializing. Residents congregate in our beautifully decorated lounges, library, and dining room. In good weather, they gravitate to Masonicare’s leafy, serene outdoor settings. And, of course, all residents have their own apartments, furnished to their personal taste, where they can unwind in privacy.

Services & Amenities

With so many conveniences, you’ll find the living is easy. So many people move to independent living to simplify their lives. Choose the A. Norman Johnson Apartments and you’ll have access to a whole host of conveniences. Imagine living in beautiful surroundings without lifting a finger to keep them that way. Your monthly fee covers your utilities (except your phone) and all exterior maintenance. For an additional fee, you can add all kinds of optional services that can lift the burden of chores and free you up for what you want to do. Plus living in the center of the Masonicare campus puts you near lots of activities, amenities and conveniences that make life a pleasure.

  • Building maintenance

  • 24-hour emergency call support
  • Access to recreational activities

Healthcare

  • A continuum of healthcare nearby. Even healthy, independent seniors appreciate the convenience of unlimited medical resources right in the neighborhood. Residents have access to Masonicare’s interconnected continuum of care with the advantages of:
  • 24-hour emergency response – If you need medical help, just activate your in-room emergency response system and it’s moments away.
  • Screening labs on site – Make an appointment and have your hearing, eyesight, or balance checked at an on-site lab. (Insurance pre-approval advised.)
  • Rehab care on site – Should the need arise, you have priority access to short-term rehabilitation units at the Masonicare Health Center. You can receive the care you need and then return to your apartment when you’re ready. Outpatient rehabilitation is also available with your doctor’s referral.
  • Regular transportation – Free convenient transportation picks you up at the Johnson Apartments and takes you to Masonicare’s Masonicare Primary Care Physicians and to referred specialists.
  • Priority admission – Here’s the most reassuring part. As a resident, you’ll have priority access, if needed, for in-patient admission.
