At Lockwood Lodge, our Assisted Living services help you preserve independence. Let us lend a helping hand with life’s daily activities. If fixing regular meals, bathing, getting dressed, or other routine chores are too much to handle on your own, here Masonicare’s trained staff and licensed nurses can provide just the support you need. So you can relax, pursue your interests, and most of all, stay independent. Your monthly fee covers these core services and our wellness program.

Always on call – You’re supported by a registered nurse and other trained, licensed healthcare professionals, who look after your routine needs. For added peace of mind, nurse consultations and emergency assistance are available 24 hours a day.
Extra care right on site – Should the need arise, you’ll have access to our short-term rehabilitation unit at Masonicare at Newtown, right on our campus. You can receive the extra care you need without ever leaving the campus, and then return to your apartment when you’re ready.
Therapeutic care – Residents requiring outpatient physical, speech, or occupational therapy can be referred for onsite therapy at Masonicare at Newtown.
Priority admission – Here’s the most reassuring part. As a Lockwood Lodge resident, you’ll have access to Masonicare’s interconnected continuum of senior healthcare. You’ll qualify for support and priority admission, as needed, to Masonicare at Newtown, a long-term skilled nursing facility that shares the campus with Lockwood Lodge.
Nearby hospitals – Lockwood Lodge is about 15 minutes from Danbury Hospital, St. Vincents, and Bridgeport Hospitals, and 20 minutes from St. Mary’s and Waterbury Hospitals.

Caring for someone with memory loss or dementia can sometimes seem overwhelming. The Hearth at Lockwood Lodge can be the answer for your loved one and your family. Building on Masonicare’s years of experience in caring for older adults, Lockwood Lodge has created The Hearth, a special residential program for memory-impaired adults.
