Masonicare’s Free Educational Program for the Community September 20

Wallingford, CT, August 23, 2012…….On Thursday evening, September 20, Masonicare Community Services is hosting a free seminar for the community entitled, “Planning Wisely for the Future: Both Yours – and Your Parents!”  The program will be held at the Wallingford Senior Center, 238 Washington Street.  The evening will begin with a complimentary light supper at 6:00 p.m.  The program will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by a Q & A session with the presenters.

 As most adults know, there are many issues to consider when making plans for the future – both for themselves and for their elderly parents.  The available options are numerous, and learning about them can be time consuming, not to mention frustrating.  If you’d like some important information that can help you make informed decisions, please join us for an evening presentation facilitated by several experts who’ll provide an overview on a host of important and timely topics.  For example, they’ll discuss buying and selling a home, creating a living trust, financial and tax planning issues, estate planning, elder law, long-term care insurance and more.
