Masonicare Annual Appeal – Gifts That Enhance the Lives of Residents and Patients

This yearly campaign helps specific programs and services of Masonicare. The beneficiaries of the Annual Appeal include Masonicare at Newtown, Masonicare Health Center and Masonicare Home Health & Hospice.

Contributions to the Masonicare Annual Appeal provide important funding to enhance the quality of life of Masonicare residents and patients when there is no other funding source available.

The appeal is conducted by The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut and runs from January 1 through December 31 of each year. Contributions to the Annual Appeal are solicited through personal contact, phonathons and direct mail.

Every gift is appreciated.

Donors are recognized at the following levels:

Trustees’ Circle $5,000+
Master’s Circle $2,500 – $4,999
Builder’s Society $1,000 – $2,499
Masonicare Society includes any gift of $520 or more
Fellow Society $250 – $519

The 2012 Campaign Raised $401,051 In Support of Masonicare’s Programs and Services

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the 2012 Masonicare Annual Appeal. The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut raised $401,051! We are grateful for your generous support.

The Holiday Appeal – Gifts That Spread Holiday Cheer

This seasonal appeal, from November to January annually, funds the purchase of personalized gifts for residents of Masonicare at Newtown and Masonicare Health Center. Also made possible by this important drive is the festive holiday atmosphere at the two facilities, through decorations and parties.

During the 2012 Holiday Appeal, The Masonic Charity Foundation received over 544 gifts for a total of $28,399! Thank you to all who supported this very important Holiday Appeal.

Tribute Giving

Year-round tribute gifts in support of The Masonicare Charity Foundation of Connecticut provide a meaningful expression of one’s sympathy, love and respect, while benefiting the residents and patients of Masonicare and its affiliates. Your tribute gift may be in the form of a memorial, expressing sympathy to the family of the deceased, or in honor of a friend’s or loved one’s birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion.

Annual Appeal Donor Breakfast

Each Grand Master’s Day in June, The Masonic Charity Foundation thanks all those who donated $250 or more to the previous year’s Annual Appeal. This event is a wonderful opportunity for you to be recognized, meet our board members and administration, and learn how Masonicare has put your dollars to work across our healthcare continuum.
