East Hartford, February 12, 2013……….Masonicare Partners Home Health & Hospice will hold free Bereavement Support Group sessions during the months of March and April. For the convenience of participants, sessions will be held at various times at three separate locations throughout the area.
Designed to help individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one, the support groups will bring people together to share their stories, offer support to one another, and help them adjust to a new world and find meaning in life in the absence of loved ones. Bereavement Support Groups, open to all, will be held at the following locations:
- Office of Masonicare Partners Hospice, 111 Founders Plaza, Suite 200, East Hartford:
8 weekly sessions to be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – March 5, 12, 19, and April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (Please note: No session March 26)
– St. Francis Care at Manchester, 515 West Middle Turnpike, Manchester:
6 weekly sessions to be held on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – March 6, 13, 20, and April 3, 10, 17 (Please note: No session March 27)
– Emergency Aid Association, 450 South Street, Suffield: (co-sponsored by Town of Suffield)
8 weekly sessions to be held on Friday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – March 1, 8, 15, 22 & April 5, 12, 19, 26 (Please note: No session March 29). Light lunch provided.

Please note that pre-registration is required, and group members are asked to attend all six or eight sessions in the group of your choice, if possible. Please call 860-528-5195 to register. When you call, ask to speak with a Bereavement Coordinator, or email Svankoever@masonicare.org to set time for a coordinator to call you. Please respond by February 25.
