Help for Hearing Loss Topic of Masonicare’s Lunch & Learn Program at Wallingford Public Library January 27

January 7, 2014

Wallingford, CT, January 8, 2014….…. Losing the ability to hear clearly can cause you or a loved one to lose so much more.  Dinner with friends, a movie with your spouse, or phone calls from grandchildren can become simple exercises in frustration if you’re straining to keep up with the conversation.

Hillary H. Lewis, AuD, CCC-A / FAAA, Director of Audiology at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, will present a Lunch & Learn program entitled “Hear and Now” on Monday, January 27, at  the Wallingford Public Library, 200 North Main Street.  Please join Ms. Lewis as she discusses the many common misconceptions about hearing loss and amplification, explores the recent new features and advancements that have been made in hearing aid technology, and explains how hearing rehabilitation and hearing aids can greatly improve your quality of life.

The free program will begin at 11:30 a.m. and includes a complimentary lunch.  Reservations are required, however, so please call Beth Devlin, Community Services Librarian, at 203-265-6754 by January 20.

Masonicare of Wallingford provides Lunch and Learn programs for adults and caregivers as a public service to the community.
