The Masonicare Primary Care practice is the primary care physician practice in the Masonicare continuum of care. This community-based practice is staffed by board-certified physicians, all committed to helping patients feel their best. They specialize in the care and treatment of adults and are as concerned with preventing disease as treating it. Office hours are from 8 am to 5 pm weekdays and, for your convenience, a physician is always on call. Our offices are located at 67 Masonic Avenue, Wallingford, CT 06492. Alla Bernshteyn, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Bernshteyn has been a vital part of Masonicare Primary Care Physicians since November 2001. She is a full-time dedicated office physician with hospital privileges at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, and also serves as Pyramid’s Medical Director.
Dr. Bernshteyn received her medical degree from Tashkent State Medical Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (formerly the U.S.S.R.) in 1991. Dr. Bernshteyn is board-certified in Internal Medicine as well as Geriatrics. She completed her Internship and Residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington and her Geriatric Fellowship at the Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
Neeraj Kalra, M.D.
Dr. Kalra joined Masonicare Primary Care Physicians in September 2005. He came to the practice from Masonic Healthcare Center, where he was a full-time staff physician at the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Wallingford. He is a full-time dedicated office physician at Pyramid with hospital privileges at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Dr. Kalra completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, MI. He is licensed in the State of Connecticut and Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
