Supplies: "Masonicare has an abundance of supplies. We're not short on linen or anything. We have all the gadgets for patients' care, new EKG machines, the bladder scan, and the new PT/INR instrument."

Masonicare: "People think that this is just a regular convalescent home. Far from it! We care for patients in-house in ACU, Rehab, and Psychiatric."

Events: "We do anything from private birthday parties, special dinner parties, to Masonic events. The food we prepare ranges from cookies and punch to a volunteer luncheon where we did roasted tenderloin, stuffed shrimp, chicken francaise, and double-chocolate cake."

Menus: "We do a rotating menu where we make two soups, two salads, three entrees, two vegetables, two starches, and a dessert of the day."

Service: "We serve 160 to over 200 for our dinner seating."

Co-workers: "They're all good people. They pull their weight and we're all willing to help each other out."

Friends: "I've made friends and have become quite close. I've never been anywhere where people were so friendly right from the get-go."

People: "We have a good group to work with. I like to work with my coworkers and I love the patients. That's the most important thing to me. The little things they ask me to do for them. Just to see them laugh. This is what I will miss so much when I retire- my people- the patients. I really get attached to them."

Resources: "There are so many resources at this facility. The experience is great. You have ACU, Rehab, an acute medical psychiatric unit, long-term care and so many others. This is great for professional experience, networking, and brainstorming with colleagues."

Transportation: "Who else has all of these buses and drivers to transport residents wherever they want to go?"
