”Skilled nursing” is a Medicare term for patients whose condition requires “licensed” care. At Masonicare Health Center and Masonicare at Newtown, we provide both short-term (e.g. post-operative) and long-term (e.g. chronic illness and dementia) skilled nursing. We’re proud of our reputation for high quality care provided by professionally licensed, experienced nurses and certified nursing assistants (also known as CNAs). As important, you’ll find our staff to be compassionate, and the patient environment to be comfortable, secure and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole person - physical, psychosocial and spiritual. We also offer skilled nursing, hospice and palliative care in the home through Masonicare Home Health.
