Presenter: Dr. David Charash of Danbury Hospital
Newtown, CT, November 19, 2013…… Area healthcare professionals are cordially invited to attend a program on Wound Evaluation and Treatment to be held on Tuesday evening, December 10, at Masonicare at Newtown, 139 Toddy Hill Road in Newtown. The educational program, which will offer one CME credit, will begin with dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program. The event is being co-sponsored by Masonicare at Newtown and Masonicare Home Health & Hospice.
The program’s presenter is Dr. David Charash, D.O., CWS, FACEP, UHM, who will discuss wound evaluation and treatment, including recognition of arterial insufficiency and how to recognize a limb-threatening wound.
Dr. Charash is Medical Director of The Robert J. and Pamela Morganti Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Danbury Hospital, part of the Western Connecticut Health Network. A Certified Wound Care Specialist, he is board-certified in emergency medicine and undersea and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Charash is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.
