Wallingford, CT, November 14, 2012………..The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut, the philanthropic affiliate of Masonicare, is proud to be sponsoring the Tree of Life, a new, non-denominational tree-lighting ceremony to be held in Meriden December 1. “The Tree of Life will give attendees from area communities a special opportunity to honor and memorialize loved ones during this holiday season,” said Stephen B. McPherson, President and CEO of Masonicare. The Tree of Life is also sponsored by Morrison Senior Living and the First Niagara Foundation.
The Tree of Life ceremony will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center, 175 East Main Street, Meriden. Through this program, you and your family can honor or remember a loved one by lighting up a light on the Tree of Life. Tax-deductible donations in support of the Tree of Life enable Masonicare to provide quality, compassionate home health and hospice care to our patients and their families and will benefit residents and patients throughout the Masonicare continuum when no other funding sources are available. Light refreshments will be served at a reception following the ceremony.
To purchase a light, please visit www.Masonicare.org to complete an Online Response Form or print out a downloadable form and return it as soon as possible with your gift donation to Tree of Life, c/o The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut, P.O.
